What is Shimul Tula?

Shimul Tula is a silk cotton fiber harvested from the seed pods of the Bombax ceiba tree, native to Bangladesh. It is one of the softest natural fibers on Earth and has been used as pillow filling in South Asia for centuries.

When will the Kickstarter launch?

When will I receive my pillow?

We plan to ship all Kickstarter orders within 3 months of campaign completion. Early bird backers will ship first.

Is Shimul Tula hypoallergenic?

Yes. Shimul Tula is naturally resistant to dust mites, mold, and mildew. It is an excellent choice for allergy sufferers and anyone who wants a cleaner, healthier sleep environment.

How do I care for my Shimul pillow?

Spot clean the shell as needed. For a deeper refresh, remove the fill through the adjustable zipper and machine wash the shell on gentle. Sun-dry the fill periodically to maintain optimal loft.

What sizes are available?

We are launching with two sizes: King (20" x 36") and Queen (20" x 30"). Additional sizes may be added as stretch goals during the campaign.

Where do you ship?

We will ship to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom at launch. Additional countries may be added during the campaign.
